Smart Mush
Le Pavillon offers a discovery workshop on mushrooms, one of the stars of our Biotopia exhibition! The workshop is given by Théodore Pelletier, a bio-engineer by training, passionate about mushrooms and creator of the SmartMush project.
Mushrooms are a doorway to a better understanding of how nature works: the decomposition of dead matter, the humus cycle and the role of mushrooms as intermediaries and essential links in the life of the earth. During the workshop, each participant will make a culture bundle to grow oyster mushrooms. The workshop will also address the new uses of mushrooms in soil decontamination, medicine, agriculture and waste reduction (cultivation on coffee grounds, cardboard, etc.).
