KIKKBOTT, a tech and creative course for girls
In this workshop you will learn how to build a small robot with the artist and choreographer Ugo Dehaes. In his artistic practice, Ugo creates a world of organic robots that replace dancers and questions the link between the machine and the human.
For this KIKKBOTT workshop, he invites children to create their own robot capable of moving and avoiding objects that block its path.
During the workshop you will be led to :
- Discover the basics of Arduino programming
- Discover 3D printing to build your robot
- Learn about electronics and soldering on the Arduino board
- Customise your robot
The course is aimed at young girls as a priority within the framework of Propulsion by KIKK, an initiative that aims to improve the presence of women in the digital professions.
